Mazafati and Kaluteh, available year-round from our own cold storage — order at least 2 months ahead to beat the seasonal crunch.
Dates are the traditional way to break the fast at iftar, which makes Ramadan the single biggest demand spike of the year for date importers and distributors. There's a timing quirk most buyers don't think about until it costs them: Ramadan follows the lunar Hijri calendar, so it shifts about 10–11 days earlier every year against the Gregorian calendar — meaning its position relative to our own August–October harvest season changes from one year to the next. A supplier who tells you "order by a fixed month" is giving you an answer that quietly goes stale within a year or two.
The rule that doesn't go stale: place your order at least 2 months before Ramadan begins, whatever the calendar date happens to be that year. And because Mazafati and Kaluteh are held in our own cold storage rather than sold strictly at harvest, a Ramadan order timed months after the August–October harvest window isn't a problem — stock is there when you need it.
Mazafati and Kaluteh cover the two ends of Ramadan demand — premium gifting and broad retail shelf presence.
Not sure which fits your market? Our Mazafati vs. Kaluteh comparison breaks down texture, shelf appeal, and logistics — many first-time buyers split their first Ramadan order across both rather than guessing.
