It isn't a price list: exact numbers depend on your specific order, and given how fast the rial has moved through 2025–2026, any price you find online that's more than a few months old should be treated with real caution.

Iran's premium, moisture-rich variety — the one most associated internationally with "Iranian dates," and sold in India specifically as Kimia dates. Export-market research puts wholesale/FOB pricing in the rough range of $1,200–$2,000 per ton, with the spread driven mostly by grade and moisture content — top-tier 2-row grades sit at the high end. The driest, most shelf-stable variety, priced lower and more variably than Mazafati. Reported ranges span roughly $600–$1,300 per ton — a wider spread than Mazafati's, which reflects real disagreement across market sources as much as genuine grade differences. Here's where honesty matters more than a number: there is no reliable public export pricing for Kaluteh specifically — even the trade platforms that track Mazafati and Zahedi don't break Kaluteh out on its own. What we can tell you with confidence is provenance instead: Kaluteh comes from the Jiroft and Anbarabad area of Kerman Province — our own operating region — where roughly 90,000 tons are produced regionally each year, about half of it exported to Tajikistan, the UAE, Qatar, and India. Mordasang doesn't have public export pricing at all, and that's not an oversight — the variety is genuinely rare, moves mostly through domestic Iranian channels, and doesn't carry its own customs classification separate from other dates. If you do find a specific number for Mordasang online, treat it with real skepticism — even the specialist trade sites we checked describe their own figures as guesses, not data. A few real factors are pushing Iranian date export prices around more than a typical year:
Currency volatility. The Iranian rial has moved sharply against the US dollar through 2025–2026 — a USD price quoted even a few months ago can already be meaningfully out of date, in either direction.
Domestic inflation above 50% in 2025 is squeezing growers, pushing costs up in rial terms even as globally-priced dates in USD terms trend down.
Global oversupply. World date production is projected up roughly 9.5% year-on-year for 2025/26, and the global average export price already fell about 16% in 2024 — genuine downward pressure on the market Iran competes in.
