Also known as Kali or Kalooteh dates — caramel-sweet, firm-fleshed, and available polished (oiled) to a glossy premium finish — one of Iran's most valuable commercial export varieties.
Kaluteh dates — also known as Kali dates, Kalooteh dates, or Kalote — are cultivated in the Jiroft region of Kerman Province, the heart of VARAS Food's own operation. Similar to Mazafati but with a firmer structure and slightly lighter color, they ripen from vibrant red to a rich dark brown, with an oval shape and meaty flesh prized by buyers across Central Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
We offer Kaluteh both natural (plain) and lightly oiled — sometimes called "polished" Kaluteh — the polished/oiled variety achieves a glossy, premium appearance and extended shelf life, which is why it's the variety featured in our own loading-day video below. Main export markets include Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, India, Russia, the UAE and Chile. Packaged in 5 kg and 10 kg cartons to preserve quality during international transit.
As a direct Kaluteh (Kali dates) supplier and exporter, we ship plain and polished Kaluteh in bulk to distributors and importers worldwide — request a current price quote for your target volume and destination.

The same Kaluteh dates, packed under three different retail brands — proof we can execute your own label just as well.
Same date, different names — plus pricing and supplier questions, answered.
Yes. Kali is simply the shorter, colloquial name for Kaluteh dates — the same caramel-sweet, oval-shaped variety grown in Jiroft, Kerman Province. You may also see it written Kalooteh, Kalute, or Kalote; these all refer to the same date.
There's no difference in the fruit itself — Kaluteh, Kalooteh, Kalute, and Kalote are all English transliterations of the same Persian name for this date variety. We use "Kaluteh" as our primary spelling, but ship the identical product under any of these names.
"Polished" Kaluteh refers to the oiled finish — dates lightly coated in oil to give a glossy, premium shine and extend shelf life. We offer Kaluteh both natural (plain) and polished/oiled; the oiled version is the one featured in our loading-day video above.
Kaluteh dates are grown in Jiroft, Kerman Province, Iran — the heart of VARAS Food's own farming and packing operation.
